Richardson Smith Architects have provided interior design services for a wide range of interior spaces and project types. We have experience handling projects ranging from small residential remodeling to the redesign and re-purposing of large commercial, business and institutional interior spaces. We have also provided services for the interior renovation of historic buildings as well as urban and industrial warehouses. Large interior projects often require the same scope of services as those outlined in the Architectural Design Services section of this web site.

In contrast, smaller interior design projects often require a more limited range of services tailored specifically to the needs of our clients. Beyond addressing the design and programmatic requirements of these projects, there is often a need to work sympathetically and creatively with the existing building within which these projects are located. Whether it’s an old home, historic warehouse or public building, each of these situations require a careful discerning approach to the design.
